P. Frank Williams

Versatile Executive Producer with two decades of experience in Film/Tv and Journalism. Williams was a Co-Executive Producer at Critical Content for a police brutality series called “Copwatch America” for BET. Williams has been an EP at TMZ and the Oakland native was also a producer and co-host with civil rights attorney Ben Crump on  the A&E Biography 6-part investigative series about Tupac Shakur.

Emmy and 8-time NAACP Image award-winning Williams was The Executive Producer/Showrunner of the Centric/BET Networks docu-series “Being.” Williams also works as a director and senior producer for TV One’s acclaimed “Unsung” and “Unsung Hollywood” documentary series. He produces BET’s award winning docs-series “American Gangster.

His other TV writing/producing credits include ‘Who Shot Biggie and Tupac” on Fox, “NAACP Image Awards” on NBC/FOX/Tv One, “BET Awards” and the Hip Hop Honors on VH1. He was on NBC’s Emmy winning team for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

Williams was formerly Executive Editor of The Source Magazine, writing profiles about Suge Knight, Dr Dre, Hugh Hefner and more. And in the mid 1990’s, he was a staff writer at the Los Angeles Times. He is the founder & president of Prophet From It Enteratinment, which produces inspirational TV, film, mobile and web content. He serves as VP Strategy and Content for Hip Hop Tv. Williams is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in NYC.
