Biography
Leslie Morgan has worked in digital for over a decade. Most recently she was Director of Partnerships and Creative Development for white label subscription service Curational, on boarding several partners and providing creative direction and solutions for custom boxes and storefronts. She has consulted for a variety of clients including management company Primary Wave Entertainment, working with President Jeff Gaspin, and Canvas Media Studios where she was Consulting Producer on Facebook Watch show Wear It to Win It. She currently works with several high-profile creators/ social media influencers and brands, scaling their businesses, providing content strategy, operational and business development support as well as negotiating strategic partnerships. Morgan is on the VidCon Advisory Board, a Viacom company that is a multi-genre video tech conference held in multiple territories. She is the GM and Founding Partner of TheCandidly, a new wellness brand for women who sort of hate wellness brands that launches January 2020.
Morgan has over eight years of digital lifestyle experience. She oversaw all lifestyle and branded programming for Endemol Shine Beyond USA, the digital studio of Endemol Shine North America, focused on developing original series across a wide array of global platforms. She created and oversaw ICON, the Joint Venture with Michelle Phan, a female-driven digital network focused on beauty, fashion, comedy, relationships, wellness and travel. She scaled the business to five territories and over 50 million views a month in the first six months of launch. Morgan sold five series to streaming and OTT platforms including Go90 and Yahoo! She also was instrumental in negotiating strategic partnerships with OWN and Nylon Magazine as well as oversaw and managed deals with Dove, Subway and mobile game company King.com.
Prior to joining Endemol Beyond, Morgan was the Executive Producer of FAWN, Michelle Phan’s premium lifestyle channel, which received funding from Google from 2011-2013. During her time at FAWN, Morgan produced over forty hours of lifestyle programs and worked directly with brands L’Oréal, Victoria Secret, Air New Zealand, Contiki Travel, Nintendo, and eBay.
Morgan has also worked with brands such as Kraft, Clorox, Unilever, Palm Pre Technology, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt and others to create award-winning branded video campaigns and communities. She won a Silver Telly Award for her work on the Kraft Real Women of Philadelphia digital campaign that helped grow Kraft’s Philadelphia Cream Cheese sales by 8%.
In addition, Morgan has worked with BermanBraun, EQAL and Revision3/Discovery Digital Networks to develop engaging and entertaining programming with a wide variety of talent including Paula Deen, Sherri Shephard and Kobe Bryant.
Morgan currently works in Denver and Los Angeles and lives with her husband and daughter. She is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta and received her master’s degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA.
