Biography
Grace Santos is a multi-faceted award winning producer and Vice President of Business Affairs & Operations at Gamechanger Films. She was one of twelve participants selected in the 2020 Producers Guild of American Power of Diversity Lab.
Producing credits include award winning productions such as “Election Night” by Tessa Blake (NCIS) starring Peri Gilpin (Frasier) and “Silk” by Catherine Dent (The Shield) starring Oscar Nominee and Emmy Winner Shohreh Aghdashloo.
Grace’s prior executive work includes: Business Affairs Executive and Creative Development Executive at Patriot Pictures, a finance and production company (“Cut Throat City” starring Wesley Snipes, Ethan Hawke, “Synchronic” starring Jamie Dornan, Anthony Mackie). She was VP of Business Affairs for companies owned by Producer Steven Paul (“Ghost Rider”, “Tekken”). Her tenure at Image / RLJ Entertainment, an AMC Networks company, garnered Grace mentions in the Hollywood Reporter and Variety for closing multi-million dollar deals such as “The Rewrite” starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei, “Pay the Ghost” starring Nicolas Cage, and “Bone Tomahawk” starring Kurt Russell.
A University of Miami magna cum laude grad, with a BA in International Studies and Religious Studies and minor in Theatre Arts. She went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from Stetson University, and then earned a Producing Certificate from UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television.
A champion of diversity & inclusion, Grace was one of the year round full time staff of the Bentonville Film Festival, which has a mission to promote women and people of color by providing distribution offers through its sponsors AMC Theaters and Lionsgate. She also founded the Asian Pacific American Scene Inc, a nonprofit production company to promote Asian American stories. Grace has also volunteered for numerous charities and has been awarded public interest awards for her service, and recently founded a nonprofit with her daughter to mentor and assist single parents.
