Biography

Angela is an award-winning producer and has worked in the film and television industry
for over 15 years, currently serving as the Associate Director of Production for
KCET/PBS SoCal/LinkTV.

Angela is passionate about emerging technology, multi-dimensional storytelling and
how both are used to engage audiences. She has worked from the ground up on
numerous multi-camera projects both in the studio and the field. And has worked with
many notable actors and show hosts including Val Kilmer, Daisy Torme, and Val
Zavala.

Angela has worked with companies such as ABC, Disney and PBS. Projects include,
“Lost LA,” “A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt at The Soraya” and “In Concert at the Hollywood
Bowl.” She has grown the student film festival television series “Fine Cut: A Festival of
Films” through engagement efforts to reach over 40 collegiate schools in the Southern
California area, host multiple workshops for students to connect with industry
professionals, and engage with various professional film and tv organizations and
companies to partner with such as The New Filmmakers of Los Angeles and Film
Independent.

Angela is originally from Palm Springs, CA, has a Master’s in Public Administration
(MPA) and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts at the University of California, Riverside double
majoring in Film & Visual Culture and Dance with a concentration in choreography. She
is a mentor for Producers Guild of America (PGA) Power of Diversity Master Workshop,
and a member of the Producer’s Guild of America as well as the Academy for
Television, Arts and Sciences.
