Jessica is an award-winning, producer, writer and director based in Los Angeles. A University of Southern California Peter Stark Producing Program alum, her films have screened at film festivals worldwide including the Cannes International Film Festival, won a College Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and garnered several top festival awards. Jessica’s content has aired on Starz, Showtime, HBO/Cinemax Latin America, and Netflix.

Jessica’s screenplays have been recognized by several notable writing labs including Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Impact program, The Writers Lab and the Indie Memphis Black Screenwriter’s Residency Program. Jessica was selected as a fellow for The 2020 Blackhouse Foundation’s Producers Lab based upon a television series that she developed.

She served as Producer on The Africa Channel’s Telly Award-winning series “World Wide Nate: African Adventures.” Most recently, Jessica served as the Executive Producer and Head Writer on The Africa Channel series titled “Escape with Nate: In Search of Black Utopia.

In addition to her various film and television projects, Jessica has also produced, written and directed several short form documentaries and DVD special features for Warner Brothers titles including TROY: THE DIRECTOR’S CUT, FOOL’S GOLD, NIP TUCK SEASONS 4 & 5, WE ARE MARSHALL and THE CLOSER SEASON 3. She directed a brand-driven TV show episode for KNBC about the La Victoria brand. She also worked as the creative content producer for a series of concept trailers for the Rice University OpenStax College initiative.
