Mark Haslett

Mark Haslett is a film & television writer/producer who believes passionately in the power of genre material to touch audiences and affect social change. Mark is writer/co-creator on PBS Kids’ Emmy nominated animated series LET’S GO LUNA!, co-created with Joe Murray, which is now finishing its second season. His credits include writing on SyFy’s HELIX for Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore and on Rogue Pictures’ LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT for Wes Craven. Mark has also written features for Universal, New Line, and Gold Circle Entertainment. Prior to his writing career, Mark was Vice President of Development at Crystal Lake Entertainment, home of the FRIDAY THE 13th franchise, where he helped launch New Line’s FREDDY Vs. JASON and JASON X. He currently has projects in development with producers at Sony and Netflix. Mark is a native of Seattle, Washington and a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
