Biography

Maxie Collier is the founder of Super Livestreams along with his wife and co-founder Schatar Sapphira Collier who is best known for playing the character “Hottie” as seen on VH1’s Flavor of Love. Together, they founded Super Livestreams, an OTT agency, platform, and production company with a network of channels, apps and sites that include Black Reflections TV, Documentary and Reality TV, NunchakuTV.com, PaperChasers.TV, PoultryPrincess.com, Black Gospel TV, client channels, and the forthcoming channels including Let’s Make TV, Super Livestreams TV, Trekker Life TV for adventure and travel and Urban Freelancers TV for the gig economy.

From a teenager to an OG, Maxie has produced independent media including personal computer powered desktop published magazines and books to electronic bulletin board services, independent feature films, websites, private networking communities and now OTT channels, networks, and platforms. He independently built video streaming services websites and apps across multiple decades from the 90s to present day.

Along the way, Collier has always been committed to storytelling, technology, education and entrepreneurship. He is the lead instructor and developer of the My Documentary Accelerator, a 12 week training program teaching people how to turn documentary ideas into reality. The companion book, My Documentary Journal, is currently available on Amazon.
Maxie started his professional broadcast television career as an employee of Black Entertainment Television. The author of The iFilm Digital Video Filmmaker’s Handbook, Collier also produced and directed Paper Chasers, the feature length documentary on hip-hop entrepreneurship starring Ludacris, Daymond John, Fat Joe and others which was co-produced with the Independent Film Channel, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and subsequently streamed on the IFC and Netflix.

Today, he helps cultivate a new generation of content creators, entrepreneurs, businesses and brands as the CEO and developer of Super Livestreams.
