Yolanda T. Cochran

Cochran, a member of AMPAS and the Producers Guild of America (National Board of Directors, and National Co-Chair/Women’s Impact Network), has 20+ years of experience in physical production and production finance. Steeping her career in feature films, her most recent work has been grounded in scripted episodic television where she currently serves as VP Production at the groundbreaking network, Freeform which was featured in Variety’s recent Power of Young Hollywood issue. Her oversight has included series such as The Fosters, The Bold Type, Good Trouble, Siren and upcoming series Motherland while her feature credits include the likes of The Blind Side, The Book of Eli, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Dolphin Tale 1 and 2, among others. In addition to her work in film and television, Cochran has been dedicated to issues of equitable and safe work environments for artists and craftspeople in front of and behind the camera, having been featured in Marie Claire’s March 2019 issue on Changemakers and serving as a Safety Captain on Time’s UP Safety Working Group.
